The demo, the release and versions

The questions that come back before someone commits: when the release lands, what it keeps from the demo, what it costs, and which build a guide was written against.

Will demo progress carry into the 1.0 release?

The developer has never published whether characters carry over, so this is officially unanswered. The demo and the release are separate Steam apps, which is what keeps the question open rather than settled. The site states it as unanswered instead of guessing. Answered in full by The demo

Is the level cap 20, 25 or 35?

The official sources disagree: the demo’s store copy says level 20, the 0.1.11 patch title says Max 25, and the playtest said 35. The demo actually caps at 25, which is the number the 0.1.11 patch sets. The beta carried more content than the demo — the sorcerer and the monk, the desert, gems, runes and a higher cap. Answered in full by The demo

What does the full game cost, and is it buy-to-play or free with a market?

No price and no edition have been published, so the site prints neither. The Steam Market is one of the game’s five named pillars, which means a market is part of the design, but that is not a price or a payment model. The site will not name a price or an edition before the developer does. Answered in full by Release

Is the demo everything there is?

No — the demo ships one class with a level 25 ceiling and a fixed set of equipment, maps and minions, and the official copy calls it a slice. Around a hundred equipment pieces, twelve minions and nine map nodes were counted when that copy was written, and the current build stores more than that. The release adds the classes and regions the beta had, but what the release build contains has not been published. Answered in full by The demo

Which build was a guide written for, and what changed?

The demo went from 0.1.9 to 0.1.13f in about six weeks, with nine patches or hotfixes along the way, so advice written before a patch can be wrong. The site carries every official announcement with its own anchor and a link to the original post, so you can see which build a guide belongs to. The demo, the playtest and the release are different builds. Answered in full by Patch history

Loot, chests and the cart

What happens to what you kill: chests, the auto-sell and filter rules, picking loot up, and where a captured creature’s cart fits in.

Can chests open and filter automatically instead of one at a time?

The build’s life-skill tree covers the filtering and the selling: Equipment Auto-Filter collects equipment by filter, Equipment Auto-Sell sells automatically, Auto-Fill Inventory fills your bag when the cart is full, and Auto Refill tops it up. The game’s own strings describe each of them, and the site’s life-skill list prints those descriptions. Chests in the demo still have to be opened in town, so opening itself is not automated. Answered in full by Chests and auto-sell

Can common and blue gear sell itself?

Yes — the build stores an Equipment Auto-Sell life skill next to the Equipment Auto-Filter, so once the filter is set, common and blue gear can sell itself. Which grades are worth keeping is covered in the chest automation guide, and the rules themselves are part of the life-skill list on the site. Answered in full by Chests and auto-sell

What picks loot up automatically, and why does the cart not fill my bag?

Nothing picks drops up for you: you pick them up with the game’s key binding. The captured creature’s cart is what carries the loot back to town, and it does not fill your bag on its own — the Auto-Fill Inventory life skill is what moves loot from the cart into your bag when the cart is full. Capacity is stored per creature, so different creatures carry different amounts. Answered in full by Chests and auto-sell

Which enemy drops which legendary, and where does each minion come from?

Each creature has an unlock item — a rein named after it — and the rein’s own string says it permanently unlocks that creature as a companion. The site lists every rein with its grade and sell price next to the creature it unlocks. Which enemy drops which legendary is not stored: drops are decided at kill time, so there is no table to print. Answered in full by Minions

Is common gear only good for selling?

Common and uncommon gear is mostly what the chest roll produces, and its only stored use is its sell price. The NPC shop’s mystery boxes roll items of random rarity, and that is where a common item competes with a better roll. Beyond selling, the build stores no other purpose for it. Answered in full by Equipments

Minions and capture

Capture, and what a captured creature does for you.

Can bosses be captured, and what does each minion give?

Yes — the official copy says any enemy can be captured, bosses included. A rein unlocks that boss as a servant that pulls the loot cart and gives either a passive buff or an active ability. Both halves are in the build: eighteen creatures carry a passive (nineteen slots in all, each moving one stat) and three carry an ability, and every creature the demo opens has a passive. The site prints both lists. Answered in full by Minions

My boss entry count is zero — how do I get more?

Entering a boss stage only checks that you can pay the entry cost; the cost itself is deducted once the stage is cleared. The material family includes the boss-stage material, the demon’s skull, and higher-tier maps carry a mini-boss flag. The entry rule and that material are printed on the site; where the material drops is not stored, so there is no drop location to give. Answered in full by The final boss

Progression, builds and farming

The numbers behind a character: talent points, damage and defence, the endgame boss, and where to farm.

How do I beat the level 25 boss with its periodic self-heal?

The community has two readings of this fight, and they disagree about what it is. One treats it as a damage check — the heal out-paces most builds, so the methods are more burst, higher critical damage and pushing the boss’s damage taken up. The other says a specific set-up interrupts the heal or out-builds it, and that lane runs through the Warrior’s thorns talents. The site prints both as community positions, marks them contested, and states that nothing the build stores decides between them. Answered in full by The final boss

How many talent points do I get, and why must I max a node before the next unlocks?

The total talent pool is not stored anywhere, so the site does not quote a number for it and leaves the total open. What is stored is each node’s level requirement and its maximum points, which is why a node has to be filled before the next one opens. The refund cost is stored as 8 points spent per point refunded: what it charges follows how much you have invested, not how often you refund. Answered in full by Progression

Does a thorns and reflect build still work late?

Thorns is a real stored stat: it reflects flat physical damage back at whatever attacks you. The Warrior talents that feed the lane are stored too, including a single-point node that lets thorns crit. Community accounts disagree about how far that carries, so the site prints the talents and marks the disagreement instead of picking a side. Answered in full by The final boss

What do the damage and defence stats do, and how do they scale?

The game defines each stat in its own string table, and the site prints every stat with that definition. Flat damage, for example, is added to a weapon’s base damage, and armour reduces the physical damage you take against enemies of your level. Enemy health and damage grow by a stored percentage per level, and those growth rates are printed next to the stats. Answered in full by Glossary

Can a fully geared level 25 character clear the bosses?

Whether a full set clears the endgame is a player judgement, not something the game states, so the site prints the stored numbers rather than a verdict. What is stored is the elite multipliers — elite health ×3 and elite damage ×1.5 — together with the enemy growth per level. Those figures are printed so a character’s own stats can be compared against them. Answered in full by Progression

Which stage should I farm, and should I gamble on shop gear?

No route is stored anywhere, so the site prints numbers rather than a recommendation: each map’s enemy level range, elite chance and encounter count. The NPC shop’s mystery boxes roll a random item of a stated slot, and that slot is printed as well. Those figures are what a route can be planned from, and the choice of stage is left to you. Answered in full by Zones and maps

What is the stat priority and talent spread for a demo-viable build?

The site prints each hero’s ability list, the named talents and the level gate on each talent, all taken from the build, and it prints no build recommendation of its own. What it does warn about is the community builds: most were written for earlier patches, and some were written for the beta’s extra classes. The hero pages are where the ability lists and talent gates to work from are printed. Answered in full by Heroes

Troubleshooting and unattended play

When a run breaks: disconnects, missing items, and whether the game keeps working while you are away.

Disconnects and rollbacks are eating my progress — what has the developer done about it?

The developer has shipped stability fixes across several 0.1.13 hotfixes, one of which returns lost talent points. Online characters live on the server. The page keeps what the patch notes say separate from what players report. Answered in full by Disconnects and rollback

Items disappeared from my equipment, inventory, chest or cart — what happened to them?

The build stores an item lock, added in 0.1.13, and an equipment auto-sell life skill. A lock that did not hold and an auto-sell that sold instead of destroyed are both recorded, in the patch notes and in player reports. The page prints both readings. Answered in full by Items disappearing

Does the game earn anything while the client is closed?

Officially unanswered, and unverified either way. The build’s own config stores no offline earnings, which is not the same as the game having none. The site says so and will not conclude before it is verified in play. Answered in full by Offline progress and unattended play

An idle game that stops the moment I walk away?

Unattended play depends on the client staying open, and no offline earnings are published or stored. That question is officially unanswered, so the site marks the whole thing pending rather than promising anything. Answered in full by Offline progress and unattended play

Memory grows after a day of idling — what are the memory and footprint figures?

Players report memory climbing to several gigabytes after long sessions. The build states no memory or performance numbers at all, so there are none for the site to print. Answered in full by Items disappearing

The desktop client

The game is a desktop window, and that brings questions of its own: size, always-on-top behaviour, multiple monitors and platforms.

The window gets in the way — size, always-on-top, clicks passing through?

The demo runs as a resizable, draggable window, added in 0.1.9. Click-through, always-on-top and hide-to-tray settings are not published by the developer. The site has no page for this question yet. Answered in full by Patch notes

Is there a fullscreen or windowed mode, and any control over height and resolution?

The window is resizable and draggable since 0.1.9, and one hotfix corrected the interface being cropped on ultrawide resolutions. No fullscreen mode is published. Answered in full by Patch notes

Two monitors: the mouse will not stay on one screen — is multi-monitor supported?

Nothing in the official record addresses multi-monitor behaviour specifically, so this is not something the developer has answered. The only related published fix is the hotfix for interface cropping on ultrawide resolutions. Answered in full by Patch notes

Linux, Proton, Steam Deck, macOS — which of these will run it?

The store lists Windows 10 64-bit as the only platform. No macOS or Linux build is published, and Proton behaviour is community-reported only. Answered in full by Release date

Economy, market and the tiers above the demo

Gold, towns, the Steam market, leaderboards, and the tiers the demo never reaches.

Is a one-million-gold gate to open the trade house too expensive?

Town progression is one of the game’s named pillars: the blacksmith, the alchemist, the mysterious merchant and then the auction house, unlocked by investing gold in the town. Players report the auction house gate at one million gold. The site prints the unlock order rather than a verdict on the price. Answered in full by Release date

Two-second clears at the top of the leaderboard — is anything being done about them?

The developer shipped client-side anti-cheat in 0.1.13 and removed cheaters from the treant event leaderboard, where roughly four thousand players finished. The site prints that and no verdict on individual runs. Answered in full by Patch notes

Where do runes come from?

Runes are playtest content: the playtest announcement names gems and socketing, runes and a new final boss. No rune entry exists in this build, so all the site can record is that they were announced. Answered in full by The demo

Does sacred (divine) gear actually drop?

The game’s rarity strings define five grades and the equipment filter offers the fifth, so the grade exists. No equipment entry in this build is in that grade, though: nothing in this build fills it. Answered in full by Equipments

Steam Workshop or mod support — is any of that planned?

The developer has not published anything about Workshop or mod support. That makes it an officially unanswered question rather than a published answer either way. Answered in full by Release date

Learning the game

The demo ships no tutorial and no in-game glossary, which shapes what its first hours feel like.

The game ships no tutorial, no tooltips and no glossary — where do I learn it?

That is right: the demo has no in-game tutorial and no glossary. The site’s beginner guide and its glossary of the game’s own terms exist because of that. Answered in full by Beginner guide: the first hour

What does [Enchanted] mean, and which skills count as one?

Enchanted is one of the tags the game’s own ability strings define, alongside basic attack, strong attack, special, AOE, warcry, blood and physical. Equipment effects refer to enchanted abilities. The site’s glossary lists every tag the game prints in brackets and what each one means. Answered in full by Glossary

Walled by an early boss — and I cannot travel back. Is going back possible?

The demo’s stages are unlocked in order, and the site prints each map’s enemy level band, which is what an early wall is made of. Whether travel back is possible is a player report the developer has not addressed. Answered in full by Zones and maps

Where these answers come from

The questions are the ones the community keeps asking, gathered from the Steam discussions and reviews, the Trad-Chinese forum thread and the video guides. Each answer is written against what this site can prove: the build’s own data first, then the official announcements. When neither settles it, the answer says pending rather than picking a side, and the site will not print a number it cannot source.
